i.  Completed and signed visa application form- will be sent to you.   Fully filled out and signed.

ii. A valid Passport – copy of the bio-data page to be submitted in the first instance. The passport must be valid for the period of intended stay in Bahamas.   Can be handwritten or typed (check specific embassy instructions).

iii. Ensure that all details match your passport exactly.

Complete the online E-visa application form, providing accurate personal information and travel details.

i.  Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay

ii.  At least one blank visa page.

III. If you have previously traveled to  Bahamas, kindly include a copy of your current or previous passport, specifically the pages showing the Bahamian visas and the relevant immigration entry stamps. Include copies of the bio page and any previous Bahamas visas (if applicable)

II. 2 recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. (No glasses, neutral expression)

III. Evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay.

VI. A return or onward ticket.

VI . Any additional documents requested during the application process.

 VII.  A letter of invitation from a person or organization in Jamaica (if applicable)

• While not mandatory, it's recommended to have a travel insurance policy that covers medical expenses and unforeseen events during your stay.
•  Passport-Sized Photographs

As of now, there are no COVID-19 restrictions for travelers to The Bahamas.  However, it's advisable to stay updated on any health advisories or requirements before your trip.

3.  Confirmation of accommodation reservation, flight booking, and travel itinerary (will be provided for you) if traveling for tourist purposes
4.  Accommodation booking or invitation letter with address in the Bahamas
5. Proof of accommodation in The Bahamas (e.g., hotel reservation).

II. Bank Statement from the individual or organization, if you are being sponsored (Also, a letter authorizing you to utilize them)

III. Recent bank statements (last 3–6 months)

IV. An Introductory letter or leave letter from your employer or school, or an identification card where necessary, with a self-introductory letter- a template will be provided

Payslips or employment letter (if employed)

V. If self-employed, evidence of your business, i.e., registration documents and bank statements.

VI. Sponsor letter and their financial documents (if someone is paying for your trip)

VII. If sponsored by an individual in Jamaica, evidence of their immigration status (e.g., copy of their passport) and proof of financial status.

VIII. In the case of a business visit, please provide recent evidence of correspondence with the organization in Jamaica and a letter of invitation.

IX. In the case of minors, a birth certificate must be presented, as well as a letter of consent from parents, if travelling with a guardian. If traveling with a spouse, a marriage certificate is required.

For non-citizens residing in a different country: copy of residency permit/visa
 

I. Business: Letter from your employer and an invitation from a Jamaican business partner

II. Family Visit: Invitation letter from host + copy of their ID/passport/residence permit

iii. Student Visa: Letter of acceptance from school + proof of payment

iV. Proof of address (rental receipt, utility bill)
